    Rebecca Saunders is a contemporary painter living in Melbourne.



    Rebecca's artwork is influenced by the history of abstraction and the principles which encompass architecture and maps. She uses various art elements as the starting point in her investigation of abstraction. Rebecca spontaneously breaks the systems that architects often abide by, such as careful planning, precision, straight measured lines, geometrics, and mapping. She explores the relationship between life, architecture, art and design. Rebecca is interested in understanding how our eyes navigate the space in her work. Becca generates spatially considered compositions. Her work continues to develop as she participates in the contemporary art world and, through her observation of commonly used streets, buildings and spaces, she constantly re-defines her unique style of painting. Rebecca is inspired and influenced by artists such as Ian Fairweather, John Olsen, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee.

    • Lino Printed Bags- You choose the theme (AGES 8+) 2-3 Hours
    • Jackson Pollock inspired paintings on canvas (AGES 3+) 1-2 Hours
    • Andy Warhol inspired Pop Art paintings on canvas (AGES 6+) 1-2 Hours
    • Pablo Picasso inspired portrait paintings (AGES 6+) 1-2 Hours
    • Finger Knitting Party- Create your own finger knitted bracelets, necklaces and more.. (AGES 5+) 1-2 Hours

    The cost varies depending on the activity, however, the average price is around $25-$30 per head. This includes all materials.
